How internships work
An internship path, not a job guarantee page
AskPoint learners in Hubli, Hubballi, and Dharwad use internship listings to practise real delivery after coursework. Listings change. You still need a portfolio, a clear role target, and time to apply. We help you prepare; you own the application.
Build a portfolio on campus
Internship applications are stronger when you can show finished SQL, Power BI, Python, or pipeline work — not only a course name on a resume.
Match the listing to your track
Analytics internships usually want SQL and dashboards. Data Science and AI internships look for modelling and Python. Engineering internships look for pipelines and Spark.
Apply with a clear story
Use your AskPoint projects, a focused resume, and the same interview practice used in career support. Mentors review applications before you send them when you ask.
Internships sit alongside on-campus courses and placement support. Finish enough project work first so a listing is a fit, not a stretch you cannot defend in an interview.
Typical starter roles ask for SQL, Excel or Power BI, Python, and a project you can walk through. If a listing needs skills you have not practised yet, choose the matching course rather than applying cold.
